WellCats is Texas State University’s comprehensive approach to employee wellness, providing benefits-eligible staff and faculty with services, programs, and resources that support well-being across the eight dimensions of wellness.
Some WellCats events require a signed liability waiver. Keep one on file to participate anytime!

Wellness Leave Policy
Regular employees are eligible for up to 2.5 hours per week of paid leave to participate in wellness activities. Supervisor approval is required to use paid wellness leave. It must be requested in advance and specify the location and type of activity.
Supervisors are encouraged to make a reasonable effort to accommodate an employee’s request while maintaining business operations.
