Get Fit Texas Challenge Results
The 2024 Get Fit Texas! challenge created by the Department of State Health Services, was a weekly statewide competition between agencies to see which agency could complete the most minutes of physical activity.
During the challenge, participants earned a star for each week by logging at least 50 minutes of physical activity. To complete the challenge, participants needed to earn a star at least 6 of the 10 weeks.

Get Fit Texas! 2024 participation:
- Registered participants: 188
- Participants who completed the challenge (earned 6 or more stars): 97
- Completion rate: 51.6%
During the challenge, together Bobcats racked up:
- 342,825 minutes of physical activity
- 917 stars (each star represents 150 minutes or more in a week)
